Software engineer, currently working with React and TypeScript. I'm drawn to systems thinking, process improvement and AI tooling, which has dramatically accelerated what I can do with the time that I have.

I came to software via property management and financial advice — an unusual route, and not an easy one, but I have worked hard at it since attending a bootcamp in 2019.

I work on complex production systems — recently an embedded Next.js lead generation widget with a microservices architecture, GraphQL gateway, and Redis cache. I have a family, which means my time is finite and I care about working efficiently. Claude Code has genuinely changed that equation for me, and I want to write honestly about what that looks like in practice.
